Bio

Bev now lives in Kent, having spent over 30 years in Hampshire. Here she was lucky enough to take regular art classes with professional artist Jamel Akib and became inspired by his expressive use of vibrant colour.

In her studio she paints in oils, occasionally in acrylics, observing the colours and textures of changing landscapes, seascapes, and the natural world and interpreting these in a slightly abstract way.

Walking out daily in the countryside with her dog, she takes photographs which often inspire new paintings.

She also enjoys painting portraits and still life studies.

This website gives insight into her work.
